AavantiBio is a gene-therapy company focused on transforming the lives of patients with rare genetic diseases through novel therapies. During their round of Series A financing, the executive leadership knew that their identity, value proposition, brand positioning, and website were pivotal to ensuring that they could connect with the investor community, patients, and healthcare professionals.
A balance of content that included information about their pipeline, recent news and PR, Friedreich’s ataxia, and the leaders of the organization became the basis for information architecture that defined how we could tell a complex story in a simplified way.
This highly scientific area allowed us to use the elegance of the science itself as a foundation for the site’s visual language, allowing us to tell a modern and dynamic story.
Collaborating with ClinicalMind, a medical communications company located in New York who was responsible for writing the copy, we were asked to focus on designing the identity, brand positioning, information architecture, wireframes, and responsive design of the website experience.
